AstraZeneca Pharma India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to introduce AI-enabled lung cancer screening across public healthcare facilities in the state.
The initiative aims to strengthen early detection of lung cancer and improve patient outcomes by expanding access to advanced diagnostic tools in both urban and rural areas.
As part of the partnership, AstraZeneca will support the deployment of an AI-powered chest X-ray solution developed by Qure.ai. The technology will be integrated into routine clinical workflows across Telangana’s public health system, enabling faster and more accurate screening for lung cancer.
